Middle and High School LIVE PROGRAM Application

Our Live Program enrollment capacity for the 2018-2019 school year is 50 middle school and 50 high school students. At this time, we have the following available openings for the 2018-2019 second semester, which runs January 17 – May 28, 2019.

  • 6 high school students
  • 14 middle school students

The ideal times to enroll are at the beginning of each semester. However, we also accept new students anytime of the year, and tuition is pro-rated according to enrollment date. A waiting list will be maintained after all spots are filled.

Live Program Application and Fee

A separate application is required for each student.

A middle school student is at least 12 years old and not yet 14 years old by September 1, 2018.

A high school student is at least 14 years old by September 1, 2018.

Live Program Interview

The student applicant and at least one parent will meet with our Director, Diann Jeppson, via phone, to discuss the needs of the student and the programs offered by Ensign Peak Academy, to answer any questions, and make sure the program is a good fit for the student and his or her family.

Live Program Tuition

Check the Tuition Rates and discuss preferred tuition arrangements with our Director, Diann Jeppson. Monthly payments are set up using the tuition tool in the Live Program Student Center. Lump sum tuition payments are paid via check, mailed to: Ensign Peak Academy, 10965 E 19000 N, Mt. Pleasant, UT 84647

Live Program Student Orientation

New students should watch the orientation recording, which will be provided upon acceptance. This orientation, along with the information in the Student Center, will assist students with enrollment and success in our program.

Middle and High School SELF-PACED PROGRAM Application

Applications are now being accepted for our Self-Paced Middle School and High School Programs. Courses begin on January 14, 2019.

How Does the Program Work?

  • Students may enroll any time of the year.
  • Select the courses you want, or enroll in the full Middle School or High School Program.
  • Courses are accessed through Canvas. All grading, feedback and communication is provided within Canvas.
  • No time limit for course completion – students work at their own pace.
  • Upon completion, courses are entered onto the student’s Middle School Grade Report or High School Transcript.

Elementary School Program

Option A: Unit Studies Independent Use

  • Families and learning communities enjoy full access to unit studies (see release dates below) to use on their own.
  • No assignment submissions or feedback provided by Ensign Peak Academy.
  • One family/learning community subscription is used for all children, ages 5-11, in one immediate family or one classroom.
  • Math, language arts and literature not included at this time. These subjects will be available in August 2019, for additional tuition.
  • No application form of fee required

Option B: Enrolled Self-Paced Elementary School Student

  • Student enrolls in specific unit studies
  • Parents serve as the primary mentor for their own children, as students progress through the topics and submit their work for feedback.
  • Students receive thoughtful video, audio and text feedback from caring Ensign Peak Academy mentors.
  • Certificate issued upon completion of each grade level, showing finished units. All history, science, fine arts, and biography units are used for grades K-6. All government and citizenship units are used for grades 4-6.
  • Application and $35 fee required for each student. An elementary school student is defined as a student who is at least 5 years old, but who has not yet turned 12 years old, prior to September 1, 2018.
  • Math, language arts and literature not included at this time. These subjects will be available in August 2019, for additional tuition.
