Mentors for the courses listed below (PT): Minimum two-years’ experience, preferably in formal middle or high school setting. Bachelor’s degree or higher, in a field related to the subject taught, is preferred. Must have an enduring love of youth, love of teaching, and love of the Restored Gospel of Jesus Christ. Online or webinar teaching experience and general fluency and experience with Microsoft office software, Google Drive and Canvas (or other LMS) is preferred. Competitive pay based upon experience and education. Posted positions are for 2019-2020 school year.

Mentors teach online, from home or from their own office, and may live anywhere. Mentors teach Ensign Peak Academy pre-developed curriculum. All courses (except World Languages) are taught live online, on Tuesdays and Thursdays between the hours of 9:00 am – 12:00 pm Mountain Time. Strong, reliable internet signal is a must.

High School Earth Science Mentor

High School Family Science Mentor (Several years experience as a parent preferred)

High School Entrepreneurship Mentor (Several years experience as an entrepreneur preferred)

High School Ancient World History Mentor (for the two Tuesday sections only)

Middle School Science Mentor, to teach about Cells, Classification, Heredity and Genetics

Mandarin Chinese Language Mentor (Will teach middle and high schoolers together, Thurs or Tues from 8:00 – 8:50 am Mountain Time.)

French Language Mentor (Will teach middle and high schoolers together, Thurs or Tues from 8:00 – 8:50 am Mountain Time.)

A Math Specialist/Mentor is being sought to oversee the math instruction of all students, K-12. Math fluency through calculus is a must. Training will be provided for the curriculum being used. Our Elementary School Program uses Math Inspirations. Our Middle and High School Programs use Shormann Math.
