Non-discrimination Notice

Ensign Peak Academy is a private, faith-based institution that incorporates religious teachings into its curriculum. In accordance with applicable laws, Ensign Peak Academy does not discriminate with admissions or employment on the basis of race, sex, national origin, or other classes protected by laws that apply to Ensign Peak Academy. In keeping with the Academy’s religious orientation and purpose, Ensign Peak Academy maintains an Honor Code and requires all students and faculty to adhere to the Honor Code. Thus, while the Academy affords equal opportunity to individuals of various faiths, does not discriminate on the basis of religion or belief, and is committed to respecting the dignity and diversity of individuals, the Academy expressly reserves the right to deny admission or employment on the basis of conduct that violates the Honor Code, to the full extent permitted by applicable law and the Utah and United States Constitution, including without limitation for constitutional protections or rights that may apply to private, member only groups or associations.

All students and employees are required to adhere to the Ensign Peak Academy Honor Code, which includes striving to follow the standards in For the Strength of Youth, issued by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. As a private, faith-based institution, the Academy, to the fullest extent permitted by accreditation standards and applicable laws or regulations, seeks employees who can model and teach the standards and beliefs of the Academy. Thus, the Academy reserves any rights available to private, faith-based institutions under any applicable laws, regulations, or constitutional provisions to prefer faithful members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in employment as they are generally more qualified to model and teach the Honor Code and faith-based instruction that is present at the Academy. However, Ensign Peak Academy will fully consider the ability of all applicants for employment to model and teach the necessary faith-based materials. Ensign Peak Academy also affirms that all people are equally beloved children of God and deserve to be treated with love and respect. The Academy recognizes the critical importance of a safe online class experience for all students and employees, and thus reserves the right to terminate a student or employee for actions or misconduct that jeopardizes the well-being or dignity of others or that otherwise violates the Honor Code or our set of beliefs.
