This is a literature only course and doesn’t include instruction on how to read.

This course invites you and your children to:

• enter into engaging new worlds
• exercise imagination
• focus on building testimony
• strengthen family bonds
• develop and reinforce foundation skills
• create new and beautiful works

This carefully chosen list of books will enhance your 1st Grade child’s love of reading. Each literature study includes questions to discuss with your child, a connection to a gospel principle, and activities. We provide a video reading for each book, to save time and avoid the cost of purchasing books. So grab a tablet, curl up on the couch together and enjoy!
