 A Beautiful City

June 18-21, 2024

SCENARIO

It is the year 2040. The impact of the late world war erased our former national boundaries. The capitols and leading metropolitan cities of Canada, the United States, and Mexico are in ruins. Former citizens of those great nations have grouped together in different regions, to establish new nations. A large number of followers of Christ and other people of good will are now living in a relatively peaceful and safe zone, that exists in the center of the North American continent. In an effort to establish a lasting place of security and stability, they have called for a constitutional convention, and for commissions of architects, musicians, entrepreneurs, athletes, actors and artists, to come together for the purpose of laying plans for a large and mighty new city – a beautiful city – a city patterned after the principles of Zion. A commission of journalists are assembling to report on the birth of this new city.

This American Zion will be beautiful. It will also be necessary for our survival. It will protect us against threats from other North American groups, as well as from foreign powers. A security and intelligence commission has formed to oversee the safety of the citizens.

Commissions

Descriptions of each commission are located on the main Simulations Week  page.

Consider blocking internet and social media on phones, and only use for texting and calling.
